Just watched it AGAIN. IM fights Thor, and Thor fights Cap. No IM fighting Cap. Plus IM is in the Mark VI (triangle chest piece) so it must be early-ish in the film...

My guess is its like the Ultimate Avengers animated movie where there was some major fighting between members after a mission got botched.

Or it's the the tired "lets-him-and-you fight" schtick that pops up all the time in superhero stories because of a misunderstanding and nobody steps back a moment to offer an explanation.

I just received my e-tickets for IMAX 3D : The Avengers screening at 0001 hours on the 25th of April. Wahoo!

Does anybody know why we in Australia and New Zealand get to see it so much earlier than everyone else? (Apart from already being half a day ahead of our American friends).

(I needed to tell somebody! My girlfriend - for whom I also purchased a ticket - doesn't share my enthusiasm for all thinks geeky)

I'm doing my own Marvel Movie Marathon as I have all the Blu Rays. I wouldn't mind paying the $40 for movie theater picture and sound but I can't take a whole day off work just to geek out with some movies

I got my midnight tickets to El Capitan, fantastic seats right in the middle, can't wait!

I tried to organise one in the UK. Had a venue sorted. Was gonna do it for charity. Unfortunately, Marvel have decided to ignore all my attempts to speak to them about it for the last 7 months. And I mean EVERY attempt was ignored. I only wanted permission to use images on my website to advertise it. Gonna do the 'home cinema' route instead.

^ Does anyone know if the posters assigned to each region so far online is the 'limited edition' posters they'll be handing out to theaters in those areas for the release?

Because I don't really want a Black Widow poster... rather have Iron Man if possible.

I would desperately like to get a Cap one though. Perhaps we can organise an Avengers poster 'trade' thread in the Junkyard? Although I foresee a large number of 'WTT: Black Widow for Iron Man'...

ugh... I don't understand why Cap is in the back and why most of the marketing is promoting Iron Man as the leader. is it to cater to the foreign markets?

easy, iron man was the one that has 2 movies, and is the most memorable so far (except for the hulk maybe)

for example, around here, nobody except people like me even knew captain america. but we did have the old iron man tv series back in the 90s
