Anybody working on one? I don't normally do models, but I think this is one I could have fun with.

Re: Avengers Quinjet?

The Quinjet page was finally updated recently, with an expected release in a couple weeks. The pricepoint is fairly high though, at $135.

I don't have any kind of experience with this type of kit, so I can't speak to the price or quality... Anyone have input?

Re: Avengers Quinjet?

The high price point is pretty much on everything Fantastic Plastic puts out. It doesn't look bad but it's one of those "will it really look that good or did they clean it up for the photos" deals.

Re: Avengers Quinjet?

I'd like a quinjet but I figured it would be the Hasbro toy after a repaint.

Re: Avengers Quinjet?

Im curious might consider getting me one too let me know how it Turns Out kevin

Re: Avengers Quinjet?

The kit is good quality. Nice sharp details and the instructions are mostly clear. So far I haven't had to trim much flashing at all. I'll get some pics up soon

Here are a couple quick pictures. I haven't really gotten the chance to do much with it, but I'll try to start some assembly soon

The instructions included weren't all that great or detailed, so a little bit of guesswork went into the build (especially when it came down to decal placement). I also really hated the thin vac-formed canopy pieces. They had to be trimmed down and then masked off for painting. Definitely would have preferred clear cast pieces.

I'm printing an Avengers logo to use as a display base, which will get finished and have acrylic rods supporting the jet. I'll post more pics once it's all done!

I'll sand it down and use body filler to smooth it out and add a little weight to it, then drill holes for the acrylic rods and glue them in place

Awsome work Kevin that came Out really Nice this one is on my list to build now that i have seen a finished one :-D
