With reference to the photo (sorry about the poor quality) above, does anyone know what the two 'key'-shaped greeblies in the recessed areas of the forehead are?

Lol! I just have repro's on mine. Only things that come to mind that I've heard in the past are maybe visible engine for the gears and clock parts for the 'windshield wipers'. I would suggest that you turn back now while you still can because trying to source parts for the AT-AT pilot is quite maddening. :lol

I also have repros on my helmet. Just can't help but wonder and wonder...

Hope I don't get 30 days in the Iso-Cube for opening 'that d@mned door'. :lol

I don't, but they're the same thigy that's on Vaders ROTJ reveal . . .right?

I don't recognize it as anything on the Vader ROTJ Reveal. They look a bit like some sort of camera part. Clutch, are yours cast from real or replicas??

Bumping this, as i too am on a quest to find the 'driver parts. Doubt ill get far, and TBH ill scratch what i can as im not too bothered on not having ALL the correct parts.

Anyways, Clutch, those wiper parts, are the centre hubs (the parts with the red dot painted on) integral to the actual wiper arm?

Just looks to me like a part from the venerable Tamiya 8rad is all buddy, part A6 in fact.

Also, are the "casette" buttons on the brow found as yet?

if they haven't been identified yet as a kit part, with all the people buying kits and not coming across it, might one assume that it's from another source?

You mean the casette buttons, or wiper hub parts Steve? I say casette buttons, as thats what they look like to me, and ive heard it mentioned before....kinda like the old flat style tape recorder deal, with the big buttons you pressed with a size 10 foot?

Wiper hub parts....hmm well TBH im not sure how many costume guys buy a mass slew of donor kits, i do as i studio scale, costume parts and ID arent my main area of expertise is all so wondered if anybody else had looked at part A6 from the 8rad.

I looked at the tamiya 8rad kit scans and didn't see anything close.
That's why I said post a pic and we'll be able to either confirm or shoot it down.

Seriously I have spent more hours in my life than I would care to mention hunting ATAT greeblies and I personally think the wiper parts are camera parts - not disimilar to the Vader reveal parts as well. I also saw some parts inside a vintage VCR but that led nowhere

The blocks under the helmet that look like cassette buttons I have looked at literally 100s of types of cassette buttons and none close.

I am going to have do more hunting tonight :)

Chris

P.S. Lee I will post the real BOC CO2 bulb holders soon honest

Chris your a superstar, been meaing to get back to ya bud, but a small case of my baby Daughter being born Sunday kinda zapped me some :lol, she's as demanding as Mom i can tell you lol.

OK heres the 8rad part, now i look, im not so sure, roughly right kinda pattern, but without better high res ref, its nigh on impossible, so ill make use them, and scratch the rest to get a happy medium on the part in the mohawk vents.

Oh Chris, quick Q buddy, what kinda diameter hose should i be onto for the CO2 bottles?

Aw man. I had my hopes up.

Still glad to know there are still others looking as well.

Thanks Lee, don't give up (that goes for everyone else as well :))

Hi Lee,

First up congratulations on your new arrival. That is your first daughter right? You will get a full football team yet :)

I have just measured the hole on the top of the CO2 holder and it is about 18mm wide at the top about 3mm into the hole the thread starts and I would guestimate about 14 / 15mm (sorry my digital calipers are not at hand).

Cheers Chris

I think we have enough pics from different angles so that a replica part could be made pretty accurately.
