I'm sure a few of you guys out there have an unassembled Tusken mask kit laying around that you haven't gotten a chance to build yet. I put together a step by step photo guide to help with the written instructions. I should have done this a long time ago. Here's the image:

And here's a link to a larger image if you want to print it out or get a closer look:

Hopefully no RPF'ers overpay for the kit I have ending on ebay on sunday. I should be able to offer a few of them here at the minimum bid price in August or September.

Hope that helps somebody out.

How much will the kits run?

Check ebay item 130008045378 and remember his words "I should be able to offer a few of them here at the minimum bid price in August or September." ;)

That's great. It's usefull for someone assembling just about any kind of kit or building your own too.

Not that most anything compares to your kits, those are Top Notch.

hi adam,

i would be in for sure.
please let me know, when you´re ready for selling these kits.

thank you.

Yeah, a couple guys are producing them in limited numbers from time to time now-a-days. A number of costumers have scratch built versions they made before anyone was mass producing them.

Very cool looking mask/helmet. Has anyone made a replica of the female version?

I saw a Tusken female kit on ebay recently. It looked pretty good form-wise and proportionally at a glance but I didn't compare it to any references. I'm not sure how good the detail work was from the ebay photo. Could have been good, I just couldn't tell straight off. I saw one of the originals at the L.A. costume exhibit last year and it's remarkably detailed.

Adam,

That photo guide is great. :thumbsup

Now if you could come up with a photo guide as to how to get the "mouth" to properly pucker I'd be all set. :D
