Ash vs. Evil Dead (TV Series)

The AvED production had a prop and wardrobe sale today. I went along, knowing that all the good stuff would have already been souvenired. As expected, it was mostly background stuff, set decoration, extras clothes, etc. I did spot some cool looking license plates which may or may not have been seen on screen somewhere in the background (they're not from the Delta). Sold for $10 as a pair, they're made out of plastic and read 19 MICHIGAN 79 at the top and GREAT LAKES at the bottom. Made of plastic. I assume they were made of metal back then.

Anyway, I saw a small sign with Pablo's face illustrated on it (season 3) and asked a crew member about the price. We got to talking and when I turned around again somebody had already made off with it! Ah well, easy come, easy go. I should have secured it myself. I continued looking at stuff when the crew member showed up again and gave me a couple of Shemp's Beer cans because he felt bad that somebody had grabbed the sign that I had asked about. He said he rescued them from a dumpster :D I was more than happy to take them as they're production props and even though they would've had a crapload of these, they're recognisable to fans. They're cool to me :)

The label is professionally screen printed on transparent plastic, shrink wrapped around a plain aluminium can. The seam looks heat sealed. They'll look good sitting next to my yet-to-be-completed chainsaw.

I took some photos of other stuff while I saw there. Excuse the poorly-focussed phone pics.

The Brocks Hardware sign was $1200. Too much for me. There were 3 Deltas plus the 'apocalypse' Delta (as I call it) and 3 Airstreams. I didn't ask if they were for sale - they were roped off so I guess they weren't. Two swing seats (from the cabin porch?) which would have been too big for me to get home and I have no room for them anyway.

The crew member told me an inventory of property was taken from each department and all the cool stuff put in a shipping container to go back to the States. Except for the 'ApocaDelta' (again, my word - not his). He theorised that the show may continue with Netflix, with somebody else (maybe Pablo) in the Delta. But that's just his fan theory. It could just be that the War Delta (I'm just trying these out and seeing what feels good) is owned by a local company who is holding on to it. But we can dream.

Thanks for the pics. Appreciated. Didn't know there was an American flag on the left side.
I sure hope to see her in action someday. Dying for some die cast Delta models someday.
