I am looking into running mods off an iPad, as the controls are much better on a touch screen. No real fix for it yet, but I'm working on it.

I've been doing some research as well and there are lots of hot keys that make things like helm really intuitive on a computer. You can do the whole station without a mouse.

Mike, which mod did you install? Can you give me it's name? There are several TNG mods out there.
I'd like to test it with the iPad.
I just did a level one by myself on an iPad, and the controls are a lot better on a touchscreen - I had helm and Weapons, and had no problems switching back and forth.

I've had no problem doing it on my system either. Just takes practice and a little bit of familiarity with the interface. As long as they work together people can just use whatever they prefer although helm with a joystick is f'n AWESOME and so intuitive.
I'll send you the mod I've got tonight when I get home. At the moment it's a TMP mod, not TNG but I'd love to do TNG as well. If you've got one that works bring it.

The last few weeks haven't exactly been loaded with free time for me to organize things. :lol
I could still do this Saturday if folks are interested. Otherwise we can postpone.

Apparently, according to the courts, it is my fault that they sent my court date notice (for fighting a speeding ticket) to the wrong address.
So until I get to see a JP, I can't drive.

Well, the JP agrees, and has re-opened the trial.
I should be able to drive by late Saturday, so I'm still out.

Just played a game using the android app. It's pretty neat steering with the motion sensor.
Looking like April now due to Dave's misfortune. Although if you want to drop by tomorrow You're welcome since I have this working on the Mobile devices now.
