Arkham City Harley Quinn & Posion Ivy

Poofy?? the pants dont look poofy, maybe it is the angle of the shots. Great costumes by the way and my only critique would be to put some more bounce in your pig tails. Make them a little more full. This coming from a guy wiith long hair as well. lol.

Backcomb ftw :D

Thanks! Yep, the hair did a flop. We spent sooo long ironing and poufing the pigtails into the perfect smooth arches, then sprayed the first one black, only to realize we colored the wrong side black! I was so bummed and we didn't have time to start over (We still had yet to start on Ivy!) so I washed it out in the pigtail, so they were all wavy :( Also next time they will be a little shorter, so they don't touch my shoulders (we didn't have time to cut my hair shorter either). They actually stained my skin on my shoulders Lol.

Fantastic costume and great representing as Harley. Like many have said, that second pic is perfect HQ nature.
Harley has always been my fav.

So I've started fixing up my Arkham City Harley Quinn costume for the next con. I "stiffened up" the corset so that it lays better and fixed up the bracelets a bit too. I also made the baseball bat (I linked a pic). Next up I have to fix that pesky puffy crotch on the pants and add wedge heels to those boots. I saved the worst for last :wacko. I am also going to cover up my real tattoos and make her tattoos. Can't wait for Spring! Looking forward to wearing this costume again!

:D

The touch-ups are coming along. The zipper of the pants is fixed, the bracelets are done, the corset lays better, and the boots are just about finished. Next up: tattoos!

Thanks! For the tattoos, a friend of mine is going to do them on Illustrator and then I'll print them on temporary tattoo inkjet printer paper. My biggest issue will be getting a cover-up for my real tattoos that will last all day.

I have fairly good quality pics from the actual textures from the game if you need, show the tattoos really well. If interested pm me :)

I'm working on darkening the red. When I started this costume, the game was not out yet and my only references were a magazine cover and a concept art pic, no in game shots yet. Both of these showed her in bright red. Then when the game shots came out she was in dark red, and it was too late! The color isn't exact, but it's as close as I can get it. All the scuffs that were on the costume are showing up very dark now, but I think it adds a worn look, and I kind of like it :) It's a crappy cell phone pic, so it doesn't show much detail.
