Okay gang time for another build something different but following the theme of the last build. One member asked if I had plans on doing this, so I looked at some pics of it and said hey this could be doable, So I went to the Home Depot and got a 8 foot long piece of foam insulation and then cut 4 sections and bonded them together after that I drew the shape of the fuselage and cut and sand, sand, sand, foam it's fun, it's messy and maybe even toxic! Lol. After I had the basic shape it was time to lay down the epoxy sculpt let it set and you got it sand, sand, sand this stuff has got to be toxic :sick, so here is what it looks like after 2 days it will end up being about 22.5 inches long so it's a pretty good size don't know about a kit, lets build it first.

Ray, you need to stop making so many awesome models. We can't keep up lol.

Re: Arkham BATWING

I'm puttering right along. This time of year I'm usually working outside on our house or the lawn. So, modeling has taken a seat behind that. :cry But I'm still working on some stuff. Will probably start the TRON thread soon...I think I've gotten far enough to warrant a new thread.

Your A-Wing is in the mix as well...I'll post something about that soon as well!

Keep up the good work! Very fun watching you build! :lol

Re: Arkham BATWING

Time for an update on this I decided to scale down the model to a more
manageable size so I took my orginal Batmobile casting that was giving me uncured paint issuses and hacked it up because the cars cockpit is pretty much the same as the Batwing just with a few modifications. So armed with foam and magic sculpt I went to work, I also decided to make the cockpit open and do an interior you never know if it comes out half ass decent I may kit it so here are a few shots.
