Just finishing up an ARF trooper helmet as a side project.
I wish I took progression photos. I was given a box of 3d printed parts by my bro-in-law and he had no idea what kind of helmet it was. That, on top of this box sitting on his porch in the blazing sun, there was little hope it could have been figured out.
So I took a heat gun to start reshaping the pieces and lots of web searching to find the matching helmet.
Used old PLA scrap to solder the pieces together, covered a layer of 1mm foam over almost all of it, lots of caulking, primer and I think it is complete.
Not real pretty, but not too bad given what I had to work with.
