Hey everyone, I'm a bit of a Noob when it comes to costume design and I am making an Apollo Spacesuit. I was just wondering if anyone had any rough sizes for the helmet diameter and the neck locking ring diameter? Any help would be much appreciated.
I wanted to make one of these years ago, and never got around to it.

The main thing to recognize is that the huge shoulders are really complex bearing assemblies. I'm not sure what the neck seal dimensions are, but I think that's becasue the suits are custom-built for each astronaut, so each suit is a slightly different size, including the neck seals. So, I think if you're building one, a careful construction of proportions is more important than set sizes.
