Anyone make homebrew games?

I've been looking into getting into the homebrew game hobby. My dream (doubt it'll happen) is to make games in retro styles that are popular that will work on any PC or even old game systems. I'm starting simple with the good old interactive fiction like zork and working my way up. We older gamers are being ignored by new companies so this is a good way to make up for it.

Nonsense. There are LOADS of cheap and free games that are incredibly imaginative and geared to the older playing styles.

So you're not saying that older gamers are being ignored. Just that there are no new turn based RPGs out there... Very different.
