Anyone know where I can get a good Spandex suit here in the states?

I have looked everywhere but like you,no luck. When I say no luck. I meen with finding anything cheaper. China is the only cheap place to find them but shipping is high.

Ultimately I want to find a sut for under 125.00 and Maggie in china looks like she is the best there is at this.
I have tried spandexman and did not like the turnaround time and miscomunication.
I was going to go with comic-costumes till I found out all his stuff comes from Maggie, and he way over charges for being a middleman.
Has anyone ordered from maggie? how is the quality for the price, I know for 75.00 I am not gettng the best suit in the world, but are the seams sturdy?

YES, Martin from Comic Costumes DOES get stuff from Maggie and re-sells it. I have inside knowledge on that. He even outsources his belts and other "accoutrements".
You are wise not to go to Spandexman. I know of a couple of people who have been severely disappointed in his suits once they got them.
Maggie is a good one to go to. I have used her on a couple of occasions and she's pretty good. Just make sure you are very precise in describing what you want. I don't know if she uses an online translator or what, but make sure to have plenty of good reference pics. I'm sure you'll be pleased with her.

He has never denied that Maggie is his source, though he has never admitted it either. To me, that just makes him shady. Martin puts out a good product once he upgrades the boots to the commercially available ones that he paints and his outsourced belts. However, I have been told by a few people in the know (I won't name names since they are friends and I don't want to get them in trouble) that he does indeed resell the Chinese zentai suits.

Could someone shed some light on who this "Maggie from China" is? Does she have a website or sell on ebay or something? I sincerely doubt searching "Maggie from China" would get me anywhere on Google!

If you sign up on The League of Heroes (www.theleagueofheroes.yuku.com), look up Brian (greenarrowfl) or Dale (vermithax). They make spandex costumes better than anyone, simply because
A. Their skills are that good
B. They themselves are costumers so they know what THEY would wear
C. They know the characters and how they should look.
Keep in mind, with them, you aren't getting the $20 zentai suit. You're getting a very nice spandex costume and you will pay a bit more for it.

To those of you who've ordered from Maggie, is her eBay account huanghaiming7923? If it is, I've recently won an auction for a body suit, but I need it by July 23rd, at the latest (it's for SDCC). I'm planning on paying for her expedited shipping rate, which says it'll take 8-12 business days (not including the time it takes to make the suit). Do you guys think I'll get my suit on time? I read some reviews on Limebarb over on LOH, IIRC. It was hit and miss. I personally haven't dealt with them, and my memory is fuzzy on the review, so I can't comment either way. I googled reviews on them and I came up with some bad ones.

Obviously, the bad ones always overshadow the good, but better safe than sorry.
In all honesty, if you go with the 2 people I recommended earlier from LOH, you will not go wrong. I don't vouch for many people, but those 2 I do.
