Oooo Oooo

That's the one when Kirk falls in love with an alien hottie and Scotty gripes about his engines???

Am I right?? :p

Might be a publicity still as opposed to a frame from an episode.
Spock looks second or third season.

Now that I think of it, it could very well be "Mark of Gideon" --

Clues:

Camera angle is dutched, denoting an unusual viewpoint or situation -- as in an empty ship..

Spock is carrying a tricorder -- unusual for him on board, unless he is "looking" for something... in this case, maybe scanning the replica enterprise.

For the same reasons, I also thought it might be "Obsession" (scanning for the vampire cloud) or "Day of the Dove" (scanning for the alien force).

But, I've talked myself into "Mark of Gideon."

Your logic presents the case for "Mark of Gideon" very well.

Not "Day of Dove" IMHO, b/c all items in rec-room were turned into swords.

Good argument for MOG, but I think that is publicity still.

Lincoln Enterprises used to sell that one. Although a lot of their stuff was printed from film clips. That's all there was back then.

But I am not watching that one again just to check. Second worst episode EVAR....

Thanks to everyone for their input. As it turns out, it is a scene from Mark of Gideon that was cut.
