Ok I thought it would be way cheaper to make some dreads for my husbands two predator suits he already has. We definitely don't have enough to buy to full sets of dreads. I'm very artistic and very crafty and thought maybe I would go to hobby lobby or Michaels craft store and pick up some items to start making these dreads. We need to have them done soon because were going to go to a costume contest. So if anyone can help me out please on anything I would really appreciate it. I just need to know what supplies to pick up to make them and how to make them. Does anyone know about how much it would cost to make them? Thank you all so much! :) - Maria

Hello,

A cheap way is to use backer rod - you can get alot of dreads from at a descent thickness and its light as a benefit.

The expensive way is to use 2 part soft foam - through sculpting, moulding etc but it takes awhile.

Depends how quickly you need them I guess

Hope this helps

Thanks maria and to you double h. My mother recently have to move in with us for a few weeks. Well needless to say she didn't mention the tree cats!!! So they decided to eat my dreads. :( . I will have the money to get the dreads but not with this time frame. I tell you I wasn't ready to replace 100 dreads. Never put your pred heads on a table or have cats. Im glad they are all gone now. Life lesson learned. Predators need to wipe out the cat population
