Hey all,
Throwing this in the "Star Wars" section as it's SW prop-related, and I know my fellow SW guys on here will understand my plight!
If you're reading this, thanks for taking the time to click this post. I'm currently looking for someone in the UK who would be willing to assist me in an ebay transaction, as there's a prop-related item listed in the UK that the seller is unwilling to ship to me here in the US. Just to be clear, the item is NOT a firearm, replica firearm, or anything remotely illegal to import or export ... the seller has hundreds (maybe thousands) of items listed in the UK, so I believe they just don't want to deal with the "hassle" of shipping international (which is totally fair!) The item, though, is something that I've been seeking out for some time and I'd really love to just snag this one, if possible. That being said, I'm looking for someone trustworthy in the UK who'd be willing to assist. I would purchase the item and have it mailed to you, then I would pay you in advance via PayPal to cover the cost of shipping to my address, plus a little extra if it would sweeten the deal.
Ideally I'm looking for someone with whom I've done business already (or with whom I've at least communicated) but if you're a noteworthy member here (frequent maker, seller, contributor, etc.) then I'll consider going forward. I'd just like to point out that the item isn't particularly valuable (considering the value of items traded on this page) but I'd still like to avoid getting sniped. That being said, I'll fill the person in on the contents of the package once they've decided to partake. If that person would like to (carefully) open the package once it's arrived, just so they KNOW what they're getting ready to put in the mail, that's totally fine with me. As I said, it's not anything that will cause issues with customs, etc.
Again, thanks for even reading this far! If you look at my buyer/seller feedback, you'll see that I've conducted a good amount of business here on the RPF (in addition to years of posting!) over the years, with unanimously good feedback. Hopefully someone can help make this happen, but if not ... oh well! Some things just fall through the cracks.
Cheers,
MastahBlastah
