Anyone have Quantum leap dvd's?

If any one has the dvd sets, could you please take a look and see if there is a sequence to the handlink lights. A pattern maybe.

Im attempting to get the sequence correct so I know the timer to use

as far as i know, the sequence was random, however, my mind isnt that great..so... ill take a look for you as soon as i can, that is, if no one beats me to it.

Cool man. I set my DVR to record all episodes, but Dean Stockwell seems to talk a little to much with his hands and its like watching a ping pong ball.

I also remember the sequencing being different patterns and at different speeds, most likely based on the variability of the props themselves. I have the DVDs, but

-1) I don't recall specific episodes that show the sequencing pattern. Any ideas?
-2) I don't know how to record a section of the video to assist you. Again, ideas?

I'll be more than happy to help if someone can point me in the right direction.

I figured it was a tough call to find the "EXACT" sequence.
The Lights I got have 9 different sequences, and they are all really cool, but I dont know how exact they will be.

I'm planning to have 6-10 sequences at different speeds and patterns when I do my run of gummy bear handlinks. Its tough to make out the exact sequences, but I'm sure we can get close.

i watched a couple episodes, and i couldnt see any pattern, but like you said, deans hand moved around a lot. i think anything you use will be good.

was just watching VH1s "i love 93" and they did a thing on QL...there was a PERFECT clip of the link in it, that showed that there IS a pattern to the blinking....problem is, the clip was short,and i have no idea which episode it was from....

I just talked with my wife. She is a big QL fan and said the best ep to look at the hand link is "Leap back" from season four. She said they show several closeups. I will check it tonight and let you know if the sequence is usable.

in the show they origionally used an EPROM, or a michaels tshirt flasher to set up randomness. as long as they're not all blinking at the same time, i'm sure 99% of fans won't recognize exact sequence-because there wasn't one!! Good luck friend!
