Hi,
I was looking for pictures of custom metal cross of coronado props from Indiana Jones and the last crusade. I wanted to see how different people tackled making these. Thanks and look forward to seeing them posted.

I haven't personally, but have you tried searching, I'm almost certain somebody's done this

Since I don't want to open a new thread for this... Does anybody knows the dimensions of this prop?

hey,
thanks for the link. there are a lot of great pics and descriptions on that page. He does magnificent work. Does anyone have any pictures of metal crosses that come close to the look that would be a good springboard to fabricating this? maybe someone has made one in metal and could give some good advice on where to start with making one.

These are drawings from presumably Indy Magnoli from the lost journal of indiana jones

For the love of God, somebody cast these...It belongs in my museum!
Also...mother of pearl inlay is available for musical instruments. Real MOP is expensive..I think you can get veneers as well.

what he said ^^^ :)

'm slowly starting to look for stuff to get my boyfriend for Christmas so he can do an Indy costume so I can grope, er stare at him in it ;) and a reasonable casting of one of these would be sweet.

Hey,
I think that these sketches from the new Indy book that is out will help alot in people being able to fabricate their own cross. You might even be able to take it to someone around you that works in metal and could fabricate it. I think the hardest things on it to fabricate would be the figure in the center and the inlays. everything else looks pretty straight forward.

Keeping the dream alive...
Anyone working on this??
