Hope this is what you needed.

Is there a file there? It's showing me some photo hosting site and just evidently wants me to sign up for it....

On the bottom you have to click on the "free" service so the download will continue.

Will take a few minutes as if you are a free user, you will be in a que.

Scroll up and down and you will see a timer eventually.

I use rapidshare quite often, but I can't download it... I can see only a red X, Weird...
Can I have this file too? (If you don't mind Jmtwo).

Hmmm. Original file was cmyk so that was probably a problem for some. I have updated the link above with an rgb version which should work fine.

It's big too. 4692x1719

Thanks Jmtwo it works now. ;)

@ NoHumorMan: no, this IS the Totenkopf "skull and metal wings" logo, the YenChih Lin wallpaper is his own creation (I think). :)

hehehe you didn't answer his question Ramiel, so I'll reverberate the question...

I was thinking it's either from Starship Troopers or Warhammer 40k but I can't remember for sure.....

To be fair, Totenkopf skull and wings refer to something quite real: it was the insignia of the feared SS in Nazi Germany.

The SS adopted the Totenkopf, wrongfully, from an older and highly revered German regiment of elite soldiers, as well as the Nazi's soiling the true meaning of the Swaztika - previously meaning Good Luck.

But I digress...

Ha. My bad... I was thinking it was obviously from Sky Captain (mental memo: never presume anything...)
Sorry for the misunderstanding :)

The Skull & Crossbones 'Totenkopf' were the SS & Waffen-SS symbol, not the skull & wings. Funnily enough the Skull & Crossbones were/are also used by some British Armoured Regiments.

The Totenkopf Skull & wings are used in Sky Captain and by Harley Davidson, and by about a million tattoo artists :)

Starship Troopers use a stylised Eagle motif which is supposed to be a combination of an Eagle and an old-style 4-engined bomber, they have wings badges, but no skulls.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if a Skull and Wings symbol is used in Warhammer :)

Thanks again Jmtwo, for providing the great art. :thumbsup And it is the exact "Sky Captain" version I was wanting. :D
