Anyone going to play Final Fantasy XIV?

I wasn't sure how many MMO fans were here, considering how time-consuming they can be. I just figured I'd ask, and maybe some of us can sign up for the same world when the game comes out. I've been playing the beta test version for the past few days, and am on the Figaro server. If anyone else ends up there, look for me in the woodland city(I can't remember the name). My current character is an archer named Oliver Reina. I don't know if I'll keep the same one when the full version of the game comes out, but I'm considering using the same server.

Not me but my wife is a cert. Expect she'll be on a local server tho. Right now she's half way through DA: Origins for about the fifteenth time, but she is just panting for FFXIV.

I don't know if what the game refers to as worlds are the same as servers or not. I was under the impression that people from anywhere could end up in the same world, because I ran into a lot of international players in the previous MMO. Figaro is the world I chose - maybe I was mistaken in saying server.

She won't stop badgering me to DL the trailer. Heh, me, I'm just too busy jonesing for The Last Guardian to pay much attention. Let it be this year!!!

I've been playing the Beta on Istory, its not bad, trying to get through the Beta aspect is interesting as there is alot of content coming out in the Alpha, ie. Chocobos and Airships. The detail and design of the world is pretty cool for sure and it has its fun moments....I just do not know if its something I would devote TIME to.
