Anyone ever think to use one of these? (DL-44)

I admit I've been looking at making a DL-44 (as well as some variants) an I thought this might be an interesting alternative to the traditional flash hider. Its one of those noisemakers people put on their exhaust to make it sound like a turbo:



Any thoughts/comments it foes come in silver as well.

Looks cool! Give it some weathering and I'd say it fits in with the DL-44 look

I have a few of those in various sizes. Only yesterday I tried to drill out the largest one to fit the barrel of a blaster project. Absolutely destroyed it!
