Anybody know how to make a chrome vosor?

I want to make a chromed visor that would be shaped to make a cobra commander mask, helmet. I tought I could vacuform a motorcycle helmet visor but I dont know if it is doable.Any help would be apreciated.

Check out a auto parts store to pick up mirror tint. Should come in strips and different degrees of opaqueness.

Also I would think you would be able to find a full motorcycle faceshield to use, where all you'd need to do is trim it down to shape. Check out a local Harley Davidson store, I've had good luck finding faceshields there in the past.

All the Cobra Commander helmets I've seen at Cons have used trimmed-down chrome motorcycle helmet visors. None of them had the crease in the middle, which is why I assume you'd want to vac-form one.

You might also find bike shops supply mirrored visor tint sheets, too.

You should be able to go to any decent automotive tinting business and get some from them. They should have some high quality stuff, now whether or not it will adhere to the visor is something else.

Yes, I want it to have the edge in the middle. That is why I dont want to use a motorcycle visor.

Maybe you can cut 2 in half, and rotate them 90 degrees, then butt seam the 2 together to get the seam you want running vertically.
