Any one heard of these guys?

I am still looking for a force lance and typed it into google. I came across http://www.newmoonprops.com/. I am wondering if they are any good. Any one heard of them? Their prices seem pretty good, but how is their stuff? Is it good quality? How long do they take to ship? Are they recasters? ETC?

Just want to know before I consider ordering from them.

That is what I was thinking but I wanted someone elses opinion before I considered buying from them. I don't deal with recasters. I think it is just completely dishonest and wrong. Thanks for the fast response.

As well, from reading reviews on other boards, much of their stuff is cast with substandard resin, poorly mixed and cured, ridden with bubbles, warped and misshapen and at least 20-30% smaller in size.

Holy crap they are still around!!

I remember a few years back they had recast a bunch of the playmates Trek toy's and called them their own designs... sad sad people.

Yup... even recast a 23C Phaser kit with the rear fins on upside down. Still selling it I see! :lol

if you go to their battlestar galactica page, you can see the pin holes all over one of their "finished" props... not mention the warping...

Those things are HORRIBLE! He recast all of CostumeBay's and Frank Bono's (Dewback Wing ASAP) Battlestar Galactica pins and did a piss-poor job of it. The only good thing I'll say is that is has a great variety of just about everything, but the quality (particularly of those NuBSG Senior Pilot Wings) are abysmal. Yeah, I'd stay away from that one. :thumbsdown
