Anti-Shark Spray

I got the can holders today. Incidentally you get two per package. The website wasn't exactly clear.

Also. Only 1 person has asked for a can and only one for the vinyl letters. A little disappointing considering the interest that was shown here. But no biggie. I do these for me (believe it or not).

I am having the sign letters cut tomorrow but am only doing one set unless someone says otherwise. So I'll have the whole shebang done shortly.

There you have it.

Thanks for the update, mic.

Hmm. A little surprising. I hope this won't dissuade you from doing the BAT-SLEEP and BAT-WAKE cans. I'd definitely be in for a couple of each!

Many of the best replicas I've seen have sprung from the maker's personal desire to have them in his or her own collection. Very cool.

Thanks again! :thumbsup

I'm still in for a set, Mic. I just need to pay for some other prop obligations I made before your run, as mentioned in your sale thread. You WILL be getting an order from me in the near future. I really appreciate you doing this run.

Oh, I am still very interested in obtaining a set of these. Just have a lot going on in my life for a minute or two. Please hold onto a set for me.

Here is the layout for the sign parts.

As a new member I can't post in The Junkyard yet, but this display is the reason I signed up here. I'd love to get a full set like the one pictured here

I still haven't put my can together yet. I bought the metallic blue spray paint, and the rustoleum yellow plastic spray for the cap, and of course I have my can of WD-40. Unfortunately I don't get to work on my projects until I finish the ones I'm doing for other people.

It occurred to me that BAT-SLEEP and BAT-WAKE are in a sense more iconic than the SHARK REPELLENT, both because they were used repeatedly on the show (whereas the repellent was a one-shot gag)

As one would expect, many of the items made for the movie subsequently appeared on the TV series.

Earlier in this thread, I wrote that the SHARK REPELLENT was a one-time gag used only in the movie... but in fact Batman did use the SHARK REPELLENT in the series, too -- during a surfing competition with the Joker! :lol

Might I suggest advertising these on the 1966 Batman Message Board (http://www.66batman.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl). You can't advertise the price, but you can show the goods and have people PM or email you for a price.
After I ordered a set from you I went and advertised these cans there and I believe at least one other member has contacted you since then.
The Bat Sleep and Bat Wake would do well there too ;)
I really hope you'll do these too, or at least the yellow letters

great work all around. It seems the original " of the day" caps were a bit more ridged. I am surely saving these threads for a future project .
