Another Star Ship

One question - is that an additional hangar bay in the uppermost section? Unless I missed it, I didn't notice any closeups of that area - and I want to see every bit of that ship! :) Thanks.

speechless Katsu-san, really i am. this is a work of beauty, art, amazing skill and just plan bad ass! i have thoroughly enjoyed watching this come to life. the paint is brilliant, no need to go nuts with it, after all you dont want to hide all the amazing futures and craftsmanship that went into this. truly blown away buy this, inspired and awed. thank you again so much for showing us the long road to the finished product.
FYI- this ship is now my desktop back round, hell i might print posters or something, love it!
great work!!!!!

Hi! Atom-san. Thank you very much. It's nice to know you love my paint scheme.

Katsu-san,

What an outstanding achievement, the colours are perfect.

The pin stripping adds an additional element of class to this wonderful looking piece.

Thank you so much for being so generous to share you skills with us and to allow us along long on the beautiful ride as your support crew

You should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved.

You are a true craftsman Katsu-san.

It's my great honor to hear this, metalwood-san. Thank you, thank you very much for your kindness.

Along this long road, I always had many strong back up of the great people here.
Sometimes I had hit the wall and lose direction. But thanks to your help, I could carry this project to the end. My best honor is that I was able to have A great supports of the wonderful people here.

All the best,

Katsu

Katsu, what an outstanding achievement!

The paint job is perfect for this subject. You chose very wisely.

Thanks for sharing this amazing journey with us.

Cheers

I looked at your finished pictures, Katsu-san, and slept on them. Upon awakening I looked again, and realized you made a good choice in colors!
But I am still sad, thinking it is over, and we will all now separate and go out different ways. :cry
Regardless, you made excellent choices along the way! I envy you your ability to finish a project, and hope I am able to do the same with my build. Until I do finish, I feel my eyes are unworthy to gaze upon your work! This gives me a new ambition! :)

I have to echo many of those who've been following this epic build and say that I'm speechless. The depth that you've created with all the little things you've added really adds so, so much to the realism of this model. The paint is perfect - not too little, not too much.

Katsu-san, you've done a tremendous job with this and I'm really looking forward to whatever the next project you decide to share with us will be. Your work is truly inspiring and it only adds to such a great community. You've really taken the bar and brought it up to an olympic standard and I hope that someday I can build something that comes even a little bit close to what you've achieved.

Give yourself a proper reward for the job well done! :thumbsup

You are very welcome and I thank you for your back up.
And I'm really happy that you accept my choice of the paint scheme.
I'm so relieved.
There were some bold design but they spoiled the sense of scale.
So I took the very conservative on after all.

At first, I would like to say thank you very much for your constant support and encouragement for my build.
There are many things I could own throughout this build. Some are very valuable experience about model building.
But most of all, I'm happy that I could own the very precious moment with you. Exchanging the words about building and some other off topic things.
I could build a star ship and also I could build up a wonderful friendship with you all.
When this build has come close to the end. I often imagined if we could on board this ship together and have a talk about many thing at the beach under the stars. It must be a very happy moment.

LMFAOSchwartz-san and Dart-san, you are the great builder and I've learned a lot from you.
I only have vaguely image for my next build and might start up 3Ding some day later.
Until then, I'll take time and enjoy your build.
I would like to post some better pics when I finished some touch up and final fixing.

Thank you very much

Katsu,

When can we board the ship and share a few drinks at the Hyperion beach resort ? Not only is the external detail incredible but the internal garden, beach cove, etc.

You should be truly proud of this work of art. What comes next ?

Take care.

Although, there are some part I have to touch up an fix, I can't keep you waiting anymore and didn't even put the ship name or a logo mark on it but....

Please have a look.

I know it's kind a conservative style but I really hope you like it.

I will put up a better pics soon!!!

Thank you, thank you very much!!!

Katsuhiko

HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!! The detailing the paint. Everything is PHENOMENAL!! I can't wait to see this in front of a black screen or a green screen and to get fully worked in. I think Hollywood has needs of your talents sir. That is flat out amazing.

You are welcome and thank you very much my friend. You've always been with me and supporting me ever since the beginning of this long thread.
I have been always appreciated your kindness. I wish we could share and enjoy my next build soon!

All the best,
Kastu

Beautiful work, my friend! Although I was concerned about the curved, slightly organic looking parts around some of the engines jarring with the straight lines, you've integrated them perfectly, and the final paint job, along with the lighting, makes it really come to life! Congratulations!

And I've only just noticed the damaged/under construction part on the straboard side- there's always something you haven't seen before!

Looking forward to your next project!

:)

I do love the detail that goes into these.. fantastic work there

Thank you very much, SuperFLY-san! Thanks for looking!!
