Today, I could squeezed out one and half hours to build before I get to my job. So I did a little preparation for tomorrow.
Last time I did the lighting with optic fibers, I had a hard time to fix those fibers in the layers.
I had to make many of these parts with my awkward fingers.
I've been thinking about any other way to make it more efficiently.
And I don't think it's a best way to do but I fixed the some kind of 'bed' for the fiber like this.
I made this with a acrylic plate and aluminum tube and a couple of screw bolts.
Then I set up the fibers on it like a wires in a grand piano with a double side glue tape.
Unfortunately, I had cut all the 0.25 fibers in 1 feet long some days ago, I have to did this one by one
but if you have a long straight line of fiber, all you have to do is just reel the fiber around and around.
Then I inserted the plastic piece with superglue from the side way. and sandwiched with the other sheet plastic.
And then I cut it up. This time I could make it two in 30 min.
I will cut them in an appropriate length and put it in a layers.
There must be some other better way to do this but I will try with this, this time.
Thank for looking.
Katsu.
