Another Star lord costume, beginner

This is my first time trying to make a costumen, minus one year I made replica prop wolverine claws. Like many of you I saw GOTG and loved it, so Im being Star Lord this Halloween. Since i feel the mask is most difficult i have decided to start with that. Im freehand modeling it using a $9 ironman mask and an adidas batting helmet as the base. Im using random stuff and epoxy putty to do all the modeling.

Obviously need to do a lot of molding and stuff still to get it looking as correct as possible

Got my jacket and my boot rocket parts. Kevin Gossett did a great job with the rockets, really impressed.
