Anakin ROTS Lightsaber

Hey everyone. Inspired by all the great Graflex 2.0 versions that have been going up recently, I decided I wanted to take another stab at finding a unicorn piece to me. You see, I am one of those crazy people that likes the look of Anakin's lightsaber from Revenge of the Sith more than the actual Graflex versions. Just my personal preference, no need for torches and pitch forks. Anyway, I have never been able to find a truly accurate replica of it with electronics installed. The MR/Hasbro versions are either too fat, or stunted, I can't tell for certain, and the only other version I've seen is a few people who customized their Graflexes to look like an Anakin ROTS. I haven't been following the custom lightsaber scene as much as I used to lately, and I know all sorts of new builders and runs are always coming and going. Could anyone recommend a builder or options that I should look into. The only thing else I know of is a run that has been limbo for a couple of years, and I am hoping for something a little more certain. All feedback and recommendations are appreciated. I, too, have a very strange interest in the ROTS Graflex. I decided to make a spin off version of it though, in order to match the continuity of saber lineage in my quest to build all of the Graflex versions. I highly, HIGHLY recommend doing a similar version to mine if you like the ROTS. It still holds the same Graflex look while adding that ROTS touch with the gold accented parts and such.

I've got a soft spot for the ROTS saber, clean lines & the smaller diameter tube feels nicer in the hand imo. I'm making my own out of Titanium, it'll include light & sound but it'll be a slow project, I'm in no hurry.

I have the Master replica LE version for display & reference. My project will have the dimensions of the ROTS & the pointier end but it'll have the glass eye & ESB grips like the TFA version. Personally I prefer the bubble strip to any of the circuit board options so mine will include something g that resembles a bubble strip. Really I guess mine will have features of all the different versions of this saber


Over the years I picked up some parts to convert a Graflex to ROTS but I'm not likely to use them

Personally I like the knurled/diamond pattern band across the clamp, and the more high tech circuit design. I can feel a progression from ROTS to ANH to ESB as going more low tech for repairs and maintenance by Obi-Wan and then Luke due to lack of supplies and experience. To me the Anakin ROTS represents what a fully trained Jedi with access to the right tools and equipment can produce.

I hear that Vader's Vault and Korbanth from FX-sabers is working on designing the ROTS hilt. I would imagine Korbanth would make the saber slightly smaller than Master Replicas display hilt for better dueling purpose.

Thank you everyone for your replies. JaxandTheMoon, you're Graflex is beautiful, feel free to photo bomb away haha. Thanks for that tip neuroson, a VV/Korbanth run would probably be my best hope.

I had one other idea I wanted to run past everyone. Would it be possible to get one of the Master Replica LE hilts, hollow it out, and install a simple soundboard and led? I think I have seen that with some of their other LE hilts, but don't know how practical that is. Thanks again everyone.
