This is a blast from the past, I built this a long time ago and I just took it out and fixed the lighting and touched up the paint. It has a lot of extra added details like styrene, and some kit bash parts on the bridge and dorsal connect.

it seems to be designed to land on planets, like in Search for Spock, so that's where the rust could come from

Beautiful painting and lighting work on this AMT kit.

I never saw a resin kit of a Bird of Prey, with most details and shape of the studio model.


Any plans for a scratch build Bird of Prey ?

Astonishing build/paint......the BOP model is so toy-like in many respects, that it takes huge effort and talent to turn it into a studio quality miniature...
