Amazing Spiderman Build (Taylor McManus)

Unfortunately i do not know what the apology thread said... and yah i noticed McLeans suit as well, but he isnt putting the spiders on front or back? and there's a pretty big waiting list.. whereas the DGP one i would have been able to start right away.. but i'll get on his waiting list and go from there.. thanks!

I never really liked DGP too much because it was far from accurate, but now with all the V3 business, I would definitely not buy from him. MCL43N's are by far, the best prints, but he is also extremely hard to get a hold of and the prints take really long to get. I would recommend buying a pattern from Sonjou or Carl here on the forums and get it printed at FOD. Just do a quick search of them in the junkyard :thumbsup

I bought DGP's. I mainly wanted it to be a stunt suit. I do believe DGP's is more comfortable, flexible and easier to breathe than MCL43N's also I'm 5'5 so only DGP would be able to make me a custom suit for my height and weight.

Lycra is extremely comfortable and flexible. Also, most suit makers could create a custom pattern (though it might take some time).

MCL43N asks for height and weight before you place an order if I'm not mistaken. And do you own a MCL43N suit if not how do you know it's not as comfortable? If anything Paul's is less custom. As I understand it, it's a general pattern and you cut and sew to your fit which causes a lot of the mis-alignments that have been happening with them. As well as too long of legs, crotch and arms.

i'll be going with McLeans, and do not mind the wait.. but for some odd reason, I cant send him a PM?? every time i do it shows sent but does not pull up in my sent box...

I'm having the same issue, except it doesn't show any messages that i've sent to anyone even though they've received them. i guess that's normal?

Hey guys, my apologies! I responded to your messages. And yes the suit is pretty comfortable, it fits the proportions of the body pretty well, and I've learned a lot about the sizing over the past two runs. But again, back to Mercy's thread!

Haha I feel so bad for whatever reason, it's always Mercy's thread that gets derailed.

Anyway how is the puff-painting going Mercy?

DONT SAY THAT! IM PUFFYING DGP's day an night! haha. youre getting me nervous with the misalignments now. the legs though i agree are too long. but the arms are pretty short. the crotch rises then i put on the suit because i have a big chest and back and legs for my height. but a super small waist. it kinda feels like youre not wearing anything. MCL34N's however is pretty nice but the mask looks kinda weird. I want to take off my mask since i will be having it under my clothes.

I'm thinking of switching lenses, has anyone used these yet?

I'm puffing my aracnades off here....
Blind.
Anyone have a solution to get the lenses on without a shell?
My eye holes look terrible...

These have been discussed on a few threads.
I played with them at the store.
They look pretty good but the black frames are really thick.
You would want to dremel them down a lot.
I've seen some use them on here but the black part is still not right even with all the red shaved off.

I made a shell but gave up on it (too many problems arised).
I made the lenses look like the picture above, but use elastic band.
Since the frame+lenses grip strongly to the mask via magnets, I didn't even have to use the elastic.
It always sits in the center, no need for mask adjustment after I put on.
Hope it helps.
