Amazing Spiderman Build (Taylor McManus)

I just got mine sewn up, the neck is too short, he made it like a tee shirt instead of a turtle neck. In the movies when he is unmasked, his suit goes all the way uf to his jaw line, now I must figure a way to either attach the head, or make it into a turtle neck somehow

Alright. Change of plans.
Instead of going to a local seamstress I am going with TrophyWife.
She has sewn a DGP Print and multiple McManus suits.
So far her communication has been A++.
Even chatting me up while I was in JoAnne Fabrics getting zippers and thread.
If you need someone to sew your suit so far TrophyWife has been amazing.
She has the experience with the back zipppers, fingers, and masks that a lot of us have been having challenges with.

Quick question, when adding the face shell do you glue it in? or just kind of let it sit? I bought a Disguise mask that works perfect but its like cheap plastic so it bends :-(

Here is a stock picture of what I'm using.

Like I said Cheap but it will work. Just need to find out how to attach it to the suit and then the lenses to it.

you shouldn't attach it to the suit. just wear it beneath the mask while wearing the suit. some faceshells are designed to work with the magnetic lenses and are attached that way (this allows lenses to be removed and switched out easily). otherwise just glue them to the suit's mask (but make sure they line up with the shells eye holes before.)

Does that one curve underneath to form the chin? The one I have doesn't so it makes the chin area look very sharp. I'm thinking I have to attach something to round out the bottom of mine to make it shape the chin.

Thank for your help! Now the problem becomes that it's almost impossible to line it up! Could be because I've never cut they eyes out.

Yes, it fits around the chin nicely!

Wow. That looks great. Where did you get that mask? I feel like I have to do a lot of work on mine to get it to work and look nicely around the chin. I've already had to fiberglass the eyeholes closed so that I can cut smaller holes for the eyes. I was thinking to either form a chin and bondo it or maybe use a flat piece of foam or something to curve and form a round my chin.

i think Redtogusa is using a similar mask as his face shell. you might check his thread and see how he's dealing with lining up the eyes.

Is there is a Hot Topic at all mall around you? Because that's where I found it. 10 bucks. It really needs to be Stiffend up, but other than that it works great! the Webs don't really even protrude.
