Hello everyone,
I'll start by introducing myself. My names Ike. Am currently enlisted in the U.S Navy. Recently,
I have been trying to find a ASM costume to buy. But, cant find one that looks at least
some what authentic. I got a lot of time on my hands so figured i give it a shot. How
much do the materials required cost? I don't have any experience with crafts. I can't even sew.
Is it possible to find local services to help me with the build, or can i some how sew it on my own?
Never to this point did i think i would end up making my own costume. So i would
Appreciate it if someone could point me into the right direction. So far, what i have
found out is that i need to buy some pdf. file. Not familiar with photoshop or pdf. I
guess am not to savvy with the programs being used. Please, excuse my English as well. I was
more of a Mathematician in school. Never used a calculator either, I learned everything with a paper,
textbook, and a pencil.

Once again, I have no experience with a computer or any programs used. As well sewing. So if you
could direct me to someone with a guide or guide me through. I would highly appreciate it. I was going to
put a link of what i wanted to buy, but i cant put it up.

Hey man! From the sounds of it, you're looking into getting a dye sub print suit. That requires downloading a specific kind of file, getting it printed onto spandex, and then sending that to a seamstress. Once that's done, you have to puff paint the webs, spider, and honeycomb pattern onto the suit. Then, you finish it off by purchasing a face shell and some lenses. That being said, it's pricy. They can be the best looking suits out there, but if you're going for simpler and cheaper, I would go with a zentai suit and modifying that. I haven't messed with the dye sub prints at all given the prices and such. If you want to go with zentai, the suits don't look as good, but they're cheaper and you can just order them to size. With a little modification, they can look awesome! I would recommend getting a Zentaizone.com. They have the best selection. As far as a build goes, you could always check out my WIP thread, but I would recommend checking out spidersparrow's budget build, he killed it! Let me know if this helps or if I can answer any more questions! Thank you for your service as well!

Hey there, pleasure to meet a fellow service member.

MOD EDIT: Link removed.

The suit you linked to is actually a stolen pattern from Orhadar. I would not suggest buying from Zentai-Zentai.
