I was just wondering how you make a costume in Photoshop..?

I'm glad you started out with thisAt the risk of sounding absurd
What's your problem, man? How about this…if you don't think artists should be compensated for their work, go spend your time on a different forum. Seriously. At the risk of sounding absurd to many, how about this...give your files away for free. This board is a group of many talented folks with common interests and sometimes helping one another out can become contagious. I am not naive,... I realize some people take advantage of this concept and if they do, well, so be it. There are far more benefits to sharing and collaboration.
No offense to anyone... just my 2 cents.
What the hell's your problem, man? How about this…if you don't think artists should be compensated for their work, go spend your time a different forum. Seriously.
Do you expect the sculptors here to give away their molds and their castings for free? Do you expect seamstresses and tailors here to give away their sewing for free? Why should you expect Orhadar to give away his paintings for free? Just because it's done in a computer doesn't make the work any less skilled or the time spent on it any less valuable.
Honestly. This kind of attitude is just disgusting. It only comes from people who've never worked hard on a project themselves. If you had any concept of the amount of work it takes to make something beautiful, there's no way you would be demanding that a person give it away for free. It IS sharing and collaboration for the artists here to sell their work, everybody benefits from it--the artists are supported and have incentive to keep making art, and the rest of us have access to their work to make our own projects better.
"No offense to anyone," Well, you said something extremely offensive. Adding some BS words at the end doesn't make what you said any less appalling, ill-advised, or ignorant.
It is indeed rude to post about Orhadar giving his files for free. Why don't you make a pattern file, spend endless days and hours making it, and you give it away for free, I bet you wouldn't. No offense.
Let me clarify something for you, pal. Professionals (and even amateurs) don't only consider their work hours valuable, they consider their TIME and their SKILLS valuable. I value my free time more highly than I do my hourly rate--if I'm working on something in my free time it's worth a great deal. If somebody wants that bit of work for themselves, they would have to pay quite a bit for it. I would probably charge my free time hours to be more along the lines of my overtime rate.I figured I would get some negativity. That's cool.
Let me clarify things for some of you. Of course an artist should be compensated for his or her work. That goes without saying. If some of you consider this board as a business or money making opportunity, that's fine... I find myself (and many others here) enjoying replica prop building as a hobby. Something to do when the work day is done. I am not demanding anything of anyone. If someone here tries to make a few bucks on the side, great! (that's what the junkyard is for). I would just like to encourage others to share digital files freely if they wish to.
It make the board a better place!
Yo, calm down there Luna. Let him state his own opinion, sure he made a huge mistake making a comment about this on a different person's thread and I agree that he should have started his own... Just, take a chill pill.Let me clarify something for you, pal. Professionals (and even amateurs) don't only consider their work hours valuable, they consider their TIME and their SKILLS valuable. Look, it does not make the board a better place for artists to devalue their time and effort and work by giving it away for free. It makes it simpler for other users to make projects, sure, but it does not make the forum BETTER, because it breeds an atmosphere where people expect something for nothing and, on the whole, an environment where artists are being taken advantage of in the long run. I've been down that road before, and trust me, it does NOT make the board a better place when artists are expected to give away their work for free.
If you want to spread your message of encouraging people to share files freely "if they wish to," then do it on your own thread. It's incredibly rude to come to an artisan's progress thread and tell them they shouldn't be charging what they choose to charge for their services.

There are printed soles on most of the patterns, but like any spandex suit, if you want to wear it anywhere other than your living room, you will need to attach shoes or soles of some kind.Hello,
Quick question: What kind of shoes goes with this? In the pattern, are the soles printed, or do you have to get a show to fit with it?
