Amazing Spider-man 2 pattern

Thanks again for the print! Fast service, I got it less than 1 hour later!!! I'll post pictures once the suit is printed and sewn.

Dude awesome job bro! Question for u. Can/will u separate the red portion of the pattern from the blue portion? The reason being is I want to print them on red and blue Lycra. Thx bro.

If you plan on doing this, you'll have to completely change the color of the file. The reason being that when you print onto a colored lycra, it will be almost a mix of the fabric color AND the print color.

That also means that any light greys or whites (Like can be seen in Orhadar's webbing) wouldn't be white or grey, they would be the color of your fabric.

The Raimi suit's digital patterns were almost pink for the red sections and grey for the blue, but when put over colored fabric, they became the proper color.

Trying to do this will require a lot of experimentation, time, and money. Believe me. I started walking down this road, and the moment I realized how expensive it could be I put it on hold.

If you choose to tackle the challenge, all I can say is: good luck.

Agreed. I tried once and it was a dead end.
Digital print/dye sub do not have white tint.
Unless you do screen print, where you still can use white tint as a base.
However, money wise, you probably better off do dye sub on white fabric.

Master NickFox is very wise.

I don't know about that... :lol

I just have 10 years under my belt of research and development on Spidey suits, so I like trying to save people time and money if I can, because I know how frustrating it can be when a project starts spiraling into higher costs and longer times.

I will say this: There IS another way of printing directly onto fabric called "Direct Digital" (I believe it's called Direct to Garment or DTG printing here in the states) it's what was used by OVDH/Ollie on his incredible suits, and -- as far as I know -- no one else. Ollie managed to get beautiful saturation using this method, but since no one else has ever used that method, I don't know whether he was just working with a fantastic printer who got him that quality, or whether it was as a direct result of the printing process.

So, I can't guarantee it will help, but it might be worth looking into... I looked into it a few years back but couldn't find anyone who printed on anything larger than a T-Shirt, but it can't hurt to get more people all looking for it.

Thx guys for helping me out. I think I'll just stick to the white Lycra rather than the colored. I'm kinda a newb and a teenage kid with no source of money other than my parents so a really expensive suit is totally out of the question. I appreciate it. Dude your file is awesome. orhadar u r selling this pattern in he junkyard right? Do u mind posting a link to it? Thx

Ordahar is there anyway the 2 back pieces can be joined to make one piece so there's no seem line similar to how some people did the ASM suit?

So what is the deal with colorsuits.com? Did orhadar give them permission to sell his file, print, and suit? I noticed they have both his classic spidey and asm2 up for sale.

I really do hope this isn't another member stealing the design and selling it on, we've had enough of that from DPG and Graham Thomson from the first amazing spiderman suit designs...

Did you guys see it? Selling the finished suit is one thing, but these guys are selling his patterns too. Really undercutting him :(
I know orhadar has a really good site he now uses to sell his files so I find it hard to believe that got the okay to use his stuff.
