Amazing Spider-Man 2 Costume

So I've run into a bit of a problem. I got through most of the suit done, had it sewn by a local tailor, and I figured that I was done with putting the suit together at the very least. However, as I went to try it on, some of the seams popped and I have been stressed out about the suit ever since. I took it back to the guy (who barely speaks English) and he resewed some of the holes, but I'm still not 100% on how I can wear it. The seams are all straight stitched which I now know doesn't hold up well, especially for something like Lycra where it has to stretch as I wear it. Even worse is how the zipper was set up. It's not an invisible zipper and the way it goes down from head to under crotch area makes it so uncomfortable that I can barely even sit down without the whole thing pulling from head to crotch, which easily results in ripping again. I know I've checked over and over again and my size for the suit is for 6'1" to 6'3", and I'm 6'1". So now that I know the seams have to be zig zag for the fabric to stretch, I'm wondering what should I do now? Do you guys think I can send it to TrophyWife for example, to get it resewn? Or is it too late because it's already been put together?

I believe it can be resewn correctly, so you might contact a seamstress with dye-sub experience (use a zig-zag stich). You might also consider using a U-zip and a zip for the mask (I have this configuration on all my suits and love it).

It doesn't look bad at all from the front while you're standing, though.

Okay that's what I was thinking of doing it's just that the seamstress charges $300 for basic entry zips and sewing. Do you know anyone else that could do it for a little bit less? It's just I've already invested so much time and money into this costume and I don't want to spend crazy money to get it sewn. Thanks for replying and sorry if the pictures are stretched, I just uploaded from my phone lol.
