Amazing Spider-Man 2 best route?

So, here's my problem, short and sweet.
I'm poor.
There I said it. I'm saving up to make an Amazing Spider-Man 2 costume, I'll be getting a job once I move out late September, but need my new costume finished by Mid-August.
Here's what I'm thinking.

Should I try and use kenlandrum's pattern and use it with fabricondemand? (Pros: Withing price range. Cons: If I were told I had to sew to save my life, I would die. And that means seamstress, which means a lot of $$$)

Or should I buy a zentaizone TASM 2 suit? And modify it? (Pros: Cheap, withing my ability. Cons: Not as screen accurate as I was hoping for.)

I've seen some modded zentaizone suits, which look awesome, for example...

However, I also want to support Ken's hard work, my problem is that I COULD try and sew it myself, but if I screw up, then it's ruined. If I hire a seamstress, then I'm broke for quite a while, and won't be able to get Tjack's faceshell until I get a job, unless I could figure out a way to make some cash.
I'm currently modifying an ASM1 zentaizone suit, so I could sell it, the problem is I'm afraid those have gone out of style, so nobody will purchase it.

So, I would appreciate some potential direction here, because I'm in a mental pickle (Sorry I said that.)

Buy a print from who you want, I chose Orhadar for like 35-40, then send it to Zentai, it cost me ~140 in total without mods, which come after

ZentaiZone has an option like that? The only place I knew that used other members patterns was zentai-zentai, and that was done illegally and sold mass-market.

Sorry, Zentai-Zentai, but its up to you, there are a bunch of places that make Zentai suits
Yeah there was a controversy about them selling Orhadar's print without permission. If you check now they don't permit people to buy the suit without presenting to pattern first. So get a pattern file and attach it, send them an email saying you want said print to be made into a suit.

Hey man I understand you are trying to help but please don't promote a theft

Lol I definitely am not. I understand that Zentai-Zentai did steal prints and it is a bad thing. It's in the past now, as I stated they do not accept orders of certain suits unless a pattern is provided, to which they even link gunheaddesign. I am giving him the advice he wanted, best and cheapest way to get a suit is to deliver a print to a suit that prints on zentai, zentai-zentai being an example.

Ok my bad man I'm glad they are finally owning up to what they needed to do a while ago or should have never happened. Anyways my bad man

I was in the EXACT same mental pickle.
There are many places that sell Zentai suits, but after searching far and wide through the internet for the magical site that would make a custom suit from a print like Orhadar's, I found that Zentai-Zentai is the only site that does that sort of thing (as far as I could tell.)
I had the same ethical dilemma of purchasing from them because of what they did in the past, but I am now thinking about purchasing from them since they have taken down the stolen prints and now require you to buy from Orhadar first; then they'll print and sew the suit for you.

ZentaiZone now do custom prints if ppl have ethical issues w/ going down the zentai-zentai route even w/ the recent policy change

how much were you looking to get for your asm1 that only cost 60$ back in the day.. you would be lucky to give it away really especially when you can get a more movie accurate suit dirt cheap...i did what you did for a asm1 never finished puffy painting the suit and did not attempt the blue part red is 90 percent done...then i went and got a taylor mcmanus suit... i used yours more for puffy practice...

I've ditched it. I'm not even going to sell it. I'll probably give it to my little bro, he's growing like a weed, it'll fit him soon enough.

Sorry to blast this thread out of the water, but I decided the best route. I'm making a comic style suit from scratch. There's over 9000 TASM 2 suits out there. I want something a bit more unique.

Good choice, I look forward to seeing the result (if you post it here)
