Interest ALL METAL CNC Aluminum/Steel EE-3 BOBA FETT BLASTER PROP PROJECT

Thank you guys for your valuable feedback. This week Andrew Meyers and I will have the production costs from the machine shop. This is one of the most ambitious prop projects I had the pleasure to work. Andrew Meyers and TMM engineering is stunning. In our meeting last Friday we will be able to have the hammer to work when the trigger is pulled, this will definitely will add the realism and accuracy we want to achieve. When we started this project almost 2 years ago the price we calculated was between $1,500.00 to $1,700.00 for each blaster. This is a expensive prop to produce, there are so many CNC machined parts, real walnut CNC routered wood stock, all finished them by hand, all the hardware, spin cast parts, etc. Depending on how many fans are interested the machine shop may give us a deal, as soon they finish to do their production costs numbers I can give the price. We will offer the EE-3 blasters pre-assembled, with easy instructions to put it together. We won't offer this prop painted/assembled. There are different paint techniques to paint and finish the blaster. Andrew Meyers will paint one of each to show how the finished all metal blaster will look. I will be posting more pictures soon.

Again thank you very much for your interest and feedback, we can't hardly wait to see the both blaster versions finished.

Will you be offering individual parts like the greebles, scope rings, etc?

Yes, we discussed this in our meeting. We will offer 3 runs, one for the ESB version, one for the ESB version and a third run just for greeblies for the ESB and ROTJ versions that will include greeblies, walnut wood stock, scope mounts, and barrel / heat sinks (ROTJ).

Yes, we will offer a third run just for parts (brackets, scope mounts, scope mounts blocks, wood stocks, scopes, greeblies, etc). Fans will write down their names and next to each name the part they want to order. This will help he machine shop and us know exactly how many parts we need to make for the complete Blasters and for spare parts.

Very cool project! Loving the attention to detail so far!
My Webley actually has the correct variation of D-Bracket with the slightly different shaped lug and 3 chamfers seen on both the ESB and ROTJ hero blasters. If this is something you guys would like to replicate where it looks like you’re going all out on this, I can shoot ya plenty of pics with verniers or mics in them for measurements etc etc

Hi, yes, if you can provide pictures and measurements will be great, I don't think it will be a problem to make changes in the drawing. Thank you.

Oooh scope mount parts would be nice, Is it possible to form the tubular looking section in the top of it or is that a bit to far. Think there are images of these having a hole running through them too?

Have some pics for us of the correct variation? Need to check, if my two Webleys have the accurate brackets

Thx in advance!

Sure thing guys! I’ll take much more detailed photos when I get back home tomorrow, but for now heres a photo from when I first started researching this odd feature, just so you have an idea what im talking about.
Its pretty subtle but definitely different
It was a complete fluke of luck mine happened to have it as well and from what Ive been able to gather so far these variants are seen much fewer and far between than the normal bracket lug. I think Ive only seen 4-5 others with this lug type out of few dozen Webleys Ive been able to look at over the years, and it seems to show up completely randomly over the 1917’s-1918’s so far (Hero Webley being a 1917). Not sure if this is indicative of subcontractor work for some of the brackets or just a different rev that was mixed in randomly since ive still so few overall examples in my research
