Aligning working laser pointers, how do you do it?

So I managed to wire up a set of working laser pointers for my helmet. The question I have for those of you that have done this, how do you align them, and once you do, how do you keep them that way?

I first tried using epoxy putty wedged in the middle of the lasers. I figured it would be thick enough that once I had them lined up, the putty would hold them in place and set...making the whole thing as hard as a rock.
But no, the putty was to soft and the lasers kept getting out of whack.

I then tried hotgluing them to one another. I first did two together...added some HG to one, and stuck a second one ot that and lined them up while lit. That worked, and I went on two the third. This seems to have done the trick, but I worry that if I wear this out when it's hot, that the temperature will cause the glue to go soft and the lasers will once again be all over the place.

I'm wondering if there was a simplier way of doing this that I completely didn't think about. What have you done that's worked?

I use krazy glue. It takes a steady hand and you need to make sure you have a really good idea of how they line up beforehand.

Take the first two and krazy glue them so that they are lined up where you want them. When you glue them you will have a bit of movement b4 the glue lockes them in place. Be quick and sure of the position. If you fail, break it apart quickly and try again.

When you have the two lined up, the third is much easier because you are just completing the triangle.

Hot glue can seperate easily, which is why I only use super glue...

The best way I have found to do this is to istall them in the bio one at a time. I use quick steal, it's an apoxy putty that they sell at most auto parts stores. Install the first one and give it a full 15 minutes befor doing the second one. Then give it about a half an hour before installing the last one. I tried a few other apoxy puttys before but quick steal has had the best results. It's not the easiest thing to do but it does get easier with practice.

Unfortunately it's not that easy . It takes time and a very steady hand. In fact it has been called infuriating by a few members here.

Well, it wasn't truly infuriating, although I did break a sweat, and spouted some sailor language. I got mine lined up, but they don't form a perfect triangle...but it's close enough that most people won't know one way or another. I used a ton of hot glue, but I'll probably shore them up with either epoxy putty or JB weld.

Now I'm more worried about hitting someone in the eye with these. The lasers I bought were dirt cheap, so I don't know if they are strong enough to pose a hazard to others.
But I REALLY don't want to find out the hard way.

Thing is pretty simple, it's just the adjustment that makes it a pain in the butt...

If I had 3 lasers, I'd first make 2 identical matrices, forming the triangle. Take one side to fit the lasers/the housing, the other to be placed on a wall. Then Align 1 laser to the corresponding dot on the wall, and move on till you have all three, check it out and fixate.
