Aliens Pulse Rifle resin kit [FINISHED]

Hello everyone.

I just bought a resin kit and vacuum the Aliens Pulse Rifle.

It is a replica of very poor quality that requires hard work and some parts are a make your own ...

I started to correct coating defects and manufactured plates and rivets to make them look more real.

I will also engrave the logo of the Weyland-Yutani on the sides of the pulse to have a customized version.

Your givin me flashbacks, just went through something similar, looking good
so far and once you get some paint on it youll see the benefits of all the work.

What you have there is one of the first few Pulse Rifle replicas- a Star Arms kit.

These were available in the early 90s. It is definitely not for the faint of heart when putting it together. The odd blend of thin vacformed parts spliced between heavy chunks of resin make the completed rifle pretty fragile.

But I wish you the best of success on this! I owned one once and never did put it together.

ooohhh , wow ,that is a hard kit to build ,good luck on that ,keep us posted on your progress ,waiting to see how that turns out...that reminds me of a model kit i have been working on ,the t2 arm ,bad casting but it can be salvaged .........will be watching with great interest

That thing belongs in a museum as it is. But, if you decide to build it, try to make it look effortless. Did that with a licensed T2 endo arm once. Pulling such off is satisfying in of itself.

everyone knows your work speaks for itself ,no doubts there ,but i will send you my kit to do for me ,if you want ,and it can be a tax write off for me as charity !!!! I didnt think you would go for that ,well i tried ......lol

It is true that this kit is difficult to assemble, but I have long wanted to own one, so I'll put the time, but I will ...

Finally, the result of the etching does not please me, so I cut the logo in the plastic card ...

This kit is actually difficult to assemble, there are a lot of retouching to do, but it's a challenge!

Looks like a pretty serious fixer upper, but you seem to be getting on pretty well anyway.

Following the addition of paint and wear marks on the whole gun ...

I will then make a layer of dirt used to finish the look ...









I still have the logo painted on the company before final aging
