Like it says in the screenshots, "NOT ACTUAL GAMEPLAY". Just a case of the CG guys not getting the details spot on from the game model.

Or this trailer could be suggesting you are able to either actually upgrade your motion tracker as you play along the name, or the motion tracker is capable of being damage and you'd end up having to find replacement parts along the way (which would be quite interesting for the latter, primarily because you'd be like Amanda in the trailer, always at risk of the Alien sneaking up on you while you're trying to salvage parts to repair the motion tracker. That'd make things even more intense in fact).

Of course, that's just an interpretation.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with games but they make these promotional CG films all the time and they never stick too close to the source material.

I certainly wouldn't use it as a reference for anything in the game.

Hi well I was board over the weekend and made a noisemaker from the game,I know the scale is abit of (I need bigger speakers) but it only took 2 hours to make.
and the motion tracker is all finished,a friend is doing a hd video for me and I will upload a link soon cheers .

I don't know about the parts and such, but the writing and the arrows pointing up that's above the screen looks similar to the graphics seen on the Nostromo's self destruct console buttons, as seen in this post. You may have to look around for some of the rub-off letters and graphics to find something that matches and in that color.
