'Alias' Rambaldi Artifacts

Personally i have just been introduced to the show and immediately noticed the Rambaldi artifacts. There are some really cool props in the series like the 'Irina box', 'the hourglass', 'the music box' and the 'brainwave scanner'

So when i searched here to see what had been done, i was amazed that so few people seemed interrested in the show and the props. All i could find where some of Rambaldi's drawings and id badges

Cheers,

Marc

I like all the Rambaldi props as well - I think those are more interesting than Marshall's toys.
Why don't you throw some screencaps up for the rest of us to appreciate? :)

And, the show was very cool the first couple of seasons, but then they moved away from Rambaldi and just pretty much tanked the whole series. I blame Ben Affleck in a big way, too. :p

Well, I've got an Irina Box...

(sorry for the crappy cameraphone pics...)

Next to a pack of Beeman's Gum for scale...

Yup, sure is... :D

Until you posted the pic of the box, I hadn't realized just how accurate it is...

Honestly I'm REALLY interested in everything from ALIAS (first of all, all the chicks... :D Oh, and the Rambaldi props too.)
;)

I've always wanted a high-res shot of the infamous "page" - a member here posted some lower res shots of the pages, but nothing larger ever surfaced.

I'm a huuuuge fan of Alias. It's the only Non-sci-fi show that I own on dvd :D

I really want to get the Rambaldi box dvd set, it looks great. :D I'd love to have a replica defiantely. Also I do love the page, it's beautiful..

I more love her costumes, there's quite a few that I'd love to do. But yes, it is surprising that there isn't more around the place.

The DVD box certainly is cool, but i wouldn't mind a wooden one with laseretched brass or plastic panels (that's what they appeared to have done for the series anyway). The dvd box looks like it is a bit undersized though.

Re: 'Alias' Rambaldi Artifacts

I finally broke down and bought a page off e-bay. The seller seemed like a good guy, and the page looks great - great quality and a real good price (25 bucks, I think). They all come with a COA which has the edition number listed as limted too 100 (with this one being #78) - I would have bought it if he made a million so the limited edition didn't really matter to me. It also comes with a printing of part of the text in English in case you want to put that with it as well (I left it out) - I threw it in a $9.00 Wal-mart frame and hung it on the wall. I am happy with it:thumbsup

Someone should send a scan of the DVD box set case over to JMTWO et al, as I'm sure they could crank out a really nice laser etched version pretty quickly.

One of the special features on the DVDs shows how they made the original. Another shows the prop master talking about the different rambaldi artifacts... and how they are all still in storage!!!!

And that paper looks great!!

Re: 'Alias' Rambaldi Artifacts

I have a couple of high resolution photos of the Irena box when it was on display at Comic Con in 2006. Did anyone see it then? It was much larger than the box that the DVDs went into. They had to agents guarding it too, which was great. I loved the show and it remains one of my favorite series to date. I just really didn't care for the final season and how they wrapped things up. I'd love to see the footage about the props.

J.R. Orci, brother of one of the producers and me have been chatting off an on for a while. He tried getting reference material for me, bit hit a brick wall.

The Irina box is something i want to do at some stage, anybody have the rambaldi dvdbox?

It's ok if you got the artwork for the box instead?;)
I've got some decent references, and I'm planning to do the artwork for the sides of the box...
But also for the clock, and some various artifacts...:cool
