Alden 405's - "close enoughs"?

Was wondering if any of the awesome Indy Heads on this board could direct me to a "close enough" pair of brown ankle boots, other than Todds, because I worry that those wouldn't stand up to day-to-day wear. Any ideas? I was trying to find something as affordable as possible.

Those are both great pairs of boots...can't find either of them online for sale though...:confused

That may be because the Rockport Farnums are no longer made, and the Redwing 1908s were never available in the US. Farnums occasionally show up on eBay, but I have never found the Redwings available anywhere online. I found a reference to them on a 2007 thread from the Fedora Lounge BB that mentioned they were like 269 Euros, which, by the time you paid for postage to the US, would probably be just as expensive as Aldens.
