Airsoft M41-A Pulse Rifle

Wow that's pretty awesome! I don't know much about "Aliens" props so I don't know how accurate it is, but as a casual fan of the series I think it looks pretty close.

That is super nice - the tan, while not my style, is sorta reminiscent of a modern SCAR rifle.

Either way, I'm diggin these.

the shroud is not very accurate at the back and you could buy the component for this for a lot less than the built up asking price. but if you want to airsoft with it nice and light.

I have owned one years ago (a G&P KIT )and its not very accurate in several aspects, and I agree with wildething ,that the shroud especially is not even close as it should be ,nor is the vent on the barrel ,or the front block on the grenade launcher as the grenade luncher itself is too thin compared to what it should be and the stock itself is not either as far as,accuracy is,that is why I built me a accurate one ,but for a 450.00 kit is what they costed 5 years ago ,but that is without the airsoft M1A1 thompson ,which would still cost you at least an additional 100.00 to 200.00 for a tokyo Mauri ,to add to the kit ,so if you were merely looking to own one to play around with an airsoft shooting BB's and not worried with accuracy ,that would be good for someone ,to own it ,but if you want accuracy ,may I suggest that if you wanted to spend that kind of money for that kit ,for a few hundred more ,you could get an HCG pulse rifle .....or go the very expensive route and build your own for accuracy, I have done both,so in that respect sir ,its really up to you to chose what best suits you and what you feel you want and how you are happy with what you are willing to spend....

I have one of these and I like it. The only thing that they could have done better was the clip that holds the cover over the magazine. It tended to just fall off. Someone here made a well made part that was done right in that it enabled the bottom cover to attach to the bottom of the mag making it so you could slap in the mag like in the movie.

The tan one is sacrilegious! :wacko :thumbsdown

It's going to take me a while to unsee that!

This gun is available in a classic movie olive drab...

Umm... no. :rolleyes

But I guess they don't know any better or don't care. :lol

As for accuracy, gyoung2993 pretty much covered it. The shroud seems to be a copy of the ICONS resin/stunt Pulse Rifle. It also doesn't have an M-40 grenade in the launcher (SPAS ejection port), it has a typical 12 gauge shotgun shell in there (which is exposed when you rack the pump grip).

I've never owned one, so what I'm about to say is second hand- a friend bought one and said it just felt too "plasticky" or too toy like for a Pulse Rifle. Of course if there is a full metal Tokyo Marui Thompson in there it will feel a little more realistic I think.

Also as already mentioned the system to change the magazine is twofold and cumbersome: you have to remove the Pulse Rifle magazine base, then pull out the Thompson magazine (whereas in the film the Thompson magazine and Pulse Rifle base were one piece). Not exactly the fastest system if you were actually using this to skirmish with. :wacko

Personally unless you are specifically looking for a PR that actually fires something, I would spend a little extra for a MatsuCorp PR or HCG Pulse Rifle (provided you don't get a droopy one).

IT IS QUITE TOYLIKE ,I AGREE ,THERE IS A WHOLE LOT OF PLASTIC ON THOSE G&P KITS ,BUT IF YOU TOOK THE SHROUDS OFF AND THE STOCK ,AND PURCHASED THOSE FROM MATSUO , IT COULD MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN ITS APPEARANCE ,AND A GOOD PAINT JOB ,THOSE COULD LOOK VERY REALISTIC ,BUT MONEY IS ALWAYS A HUGE FACTOR IN A PULSE RIFLE PROP ,THE NEXT ONE I BUILD WITH HAVE TO BE A MATSUCORP ,NO DOUBT ,BUT THE MONEY IS ALWAYS THE ISSUE FROM TIME TO TIME TO PURCHASE THINGS LIKE THAT ,CAUSE I AM ALWAYS BROKE !!!!! LOL:lol

I agree.
I like the the shrouds available here on the RPF better.
