Airbrush Paint Mix for latex

So I got my airbrush kit in today and will start practicing around with it later. I've been looking around to see what kind of mixes I can get away with, basically waht i've gathered is:

Cut liquid latex with ammonia to thin it to run through the brush

...and thats about it. Do I just add acrylic paint to the latex to paint with? Will the ammonia fk up the paint? Any help is appreciated, keeping in mind I don't like ordering the high end stuff from the internet and waiting 2 weeks to get a couple ounces of paint.

You don't need ammonia to thin out latex. You can use Distilled water, or at the very least tap-water.

Try a mix of 25% Latex, 25% Acrylic 50% Water.

This is what I used to paint up my Pirk Elder. Worked great.
