Kuma, I really thought that would be a great costume. I saw someone at Dcon wearing one. I was trying to think how to make the head. If you could find 2 security camera domes, the big ones, you could probably put those together, maybe use a thin foam over it, and strech the faux fur and such on top.
You can get a hard hat rig, and set that up inside to stabalize it. You would just need to figure out how to attach it on the inside to center it high enough on your head so it isn't resting on your shoulders.
