Adventurebilt hats

Hey, just curious how long does it take to get one ofthese in once it's paid for? My two emails to them to inquire have been met with no response.

Thanks

Lee

Both Steve (of Adventurebilt) and Marc (of Adventurebit Deluxe) make the hats by hand at the rate of one or two hats per day, so it takes time. I got mine about 4 months after I placed the order with Steve (that was last year), but trust me, the wait is worth it. It's the best looking Indy fedora, Raiders in particular, that money can buy. I'd reckon it'll take longer now since both of them are said to be supplying the fedoras for a particular movie currently in production, if you catch my drift! ;)

Orders coming in now are scheduled to be out "before the film opens." You could have up to 11 months on your hands...

Wrote Steve over the weekend and he responded immediately. Very good communication and seems to be an absolutely GREAT guy!!!

Yes, Steve's a great guy. If you order now, you've got at least 6 months MINIMUM to wait, but as others have already said, the wait will be well worth it!

Wow. I'm glad I ordered mine right around when he opened shop. It was only a few weeks turnaround time then.

I believe he's extremely busy right now, but as others have stated, it's worth the wait.

I have an AB Deluxe "on the block", as this is being typed. I ordered mine in Febuary of this year, and should have it by next week, as long as Marc is happy with the way it looks when it's finished. Both Steve and Marc will not send a hat out that they themselves wouldn't be proud of wearing.
They are perfectionists, and like stated above, the hats are well worth the wait. I own one of Steves hats, and it rocks!!
I suggest that of you are really interested, then order soon. By the time the film comes out next May, the wait time will increase tri-fold.

I only waited about two months for my AB....I went with a "Raiders" in beaver pelt. He even signed and dated the inside of the sweatband. What a legend!!! All along the process I recieved regular pictorial updates of my build. One of the most pleasant vendor arounds!

Thanks a millions Steve!

anyone got the addys for the website? or do they have one?

i would like to look and see the prices and what they look like. right now i have a Herbert Johnson indy fedora.

I think at the moment, Marc is a little less backed up than Steve is. If time is a factor, then I'd try comtacting them both to see where they're at on delivey times. They both put out a high end product anyone would be satisfied with. The link to Steve's brach of AB is posted above, here's Marc's from Germany. http://www.adventurebiltdeluxe.com/

Below is a pic of me wearing the actual AB fedora that Ford tried on during his first fedora costume fitting for the new film. This is one of Steve's while the pic of Ford in his new Indygear has him wearing one of Marc's AB deluxes.
