Action League Now! Guide/ID Help

One of my favorite shows as a kid growing up in the 90s was "KaBlam!", which was basically a collection of short 5 minute shows all-in-one 30 minute episode. One of the best short films in the show was called "Action League Now!", where these stop-motion action figures would go out and try to stop evil (usually through slapstick).

Anyways, I love this show and I would love to have my own set of action figures of the characters. The majority of the character's parts have been found but I need help with a couple of parts. Here's the found parts, for completion's sake:

The Flesh (Conan the Adventurer):

Looks like they cut the head off of the figure to make it movable, but it looks like they modified the face too. I'm not sure.

Stinky Diver (1994 G.I. Joe "Shipwreck"):

I have this figure. Just cut the hoses off the mask and paint according.

Meltman:

Looks like a GI Joe figure. Don't know which.

Thunder Girl (Sindy Doll Head/Unknown Body):

Thanks to harveytwoface999 for the pics. Here's his topic for more research: Figure Realm • View topic - Action League Now WIP thread (Stinky Diver Finished!)

If anyone can help me ID Meltman or Thunder Girl's body, I would greatly appreciate it!

I always want to make the Action League. Looks like Meltman will be the hardest to get right. Maybe thundergirl body is made from a SheRa toy?

I used to love KaBlam! Didn't "Action League Now!" end up getting a show of it's own after awhile? I would love a set of these figures also! Darn, I have to many projects going on now!

haha i was just talking about how awesome this show was a couple of days ago! ive always wanted some accurate figures from the show. i know they used to make the figures so if you cant find the base for meltman you could always settle for the official figure because if i remember right it looked pretty good.

Thanks ecmagee for the tip! Thunder Girl's body looks like it's definitely from She-Ra parts. She-Ra's Peekablue torso looks really close:

The arms, legs and gauntlets look slightly different but I'm thinking they mixed and matched with other She-Ra figures.

Yeah, they did. I don't know if they ever did any new episodes or if they were all just episodes from KaBlam.

I think they were Burger King Kids Meal toy figures or something. Here's a pic:

Yeah, I doubt anyone can accurately make Meltman without sculpting or something.

On second look, the arms on Thunder Girl don't match at all. They have elbow joints, unlike the She-Ra arms and the right hand is different too.

How did I not know about those burger king toys?!?!

I loved Action League Now when I was growing up. Good luck on tracking down the parts. I'll be watching this thread with great interest.

NECRO-THREAD!! :lol

The Chief's been 100% identified. It's a Playskool African American Doctor. The mustache is added on later.

Anyways, still trying to figure out Thunder Girl's arms...the body does look like a She Ra though.

FYI I'm about to start trying to make this team of figures as well, no one gotten any new info over time?

Sadly, no. Thunder Girl's body is most likely just a heavily modified She-Ra doll. And Meltman is a G.I. Joe, but I don't know which one; it would probably be best to sculpt Meltman than try to actually melt a figure, lol.
