Anyone here who had any of the previous items? Did they come pre-painted or how would you paint on the polyurethane?

they come plain, urethane is alittle different to paint, but FASKOLOR rc car paint,seemed to work well for me.

Might check that out, figured it'd be easier to "paint" the outer layer with tinted PU, then fill with black tinted. Problem is, I don't know which color to pick.

Wow! I have no desire for a full costume, but I am trying to figure out how a pack like that could be tactfully displayed with my P1 stunt. Gorgeous!

Anyone here who had any of the previous items? Did they come pre-painted or how would you paint on the polyurethane?

Apparently its gonna be made of resin so its just a matter of primming it and using any paint at that point. Those urethane rubber pieces are a pain in the ass to get paint to stick to properly. I still say foam backed latex would been a better way to go on them. Still would have been firm yet flexible just like the real suit was.

Dont need it its gonna be resin and I stand by my statement just make the stuff out of latex and resin. So much easier to paint and a much cheaper way to go.

You said the rubber is a pain in the ass, well faskolor over here is EXACTLY the same price as FWinks, and is designed for LEXAN RC car bodies, as i actually said above.


just using a different paint for the base is not really a hassle..........
