Accurized P1 Backpack Mold Finished Pg 16

Carl, very very nice sculping. The lines look great. I agree with Kithunter, it's always more fun to work it from soft to hard.

I'm trying to get as many pieces together as possible to complete a medkit for both Predator 1 and 2. I have managed to get the umbilical scissors, retractors and automatic syringe from P1. I have matched a bone saw from P2 but cannot find either of those self-retaining retractors, the flash fan / unfolding dish looks to be custom made as does the spatula. Carl, can you help me with the correct names for any of the pieces and tell me what the two other steel P1 tools you have are please. It would be a great help and stop me forever searching through surgical equipment on ebay. Thanks in advance

Carl...WTF?..

i mean really...WTF?.......... :(

dude?....are you there?...Hellllooooooooooooooooooooo?

is this thing on?

CARL CARL CARL CARL CARL CARL.

Are you planning to finish this buddy?

according to dwayne , and i quote

"I dont think hes doing anything with the backpack thats starting to look like he gave up on it. Hes got himself a girlfriend and is doing his political stuff and dont have time to play with us anymore. ."

You apparently are not going to finish this up, please let us know, as ill start my own if you are done with the hobby or if its going to be ANOTHER 3 years.

cheers.

Carl's girlfriends name is Rosie and she has 5 sisters! He's slacking boys. Lee you could have sculpted a backpack for every movie by this time!
(I think it's his 1st girlfriend too!)

I haven't spoken with Carl but I know he has to build a rotocaster big enough to cast this thing, which takes both time and money. I think he has way too much time, money and pride invested (probably more so than myself) in this project to give up. Just my .02 ...

Right you are Jerome......here's a couple of updates. The new film and the SDCC pix were the shot in the arm I needed.
Adding the Medkit cover with a foam core under-structure, clayed over. More to come, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Carl,

I am very glad to see you are back working on this and hope you can keep motivated to finish it.

Nice lines Carl!

The lines on that sculpt look like Lockheed Martin designed and engineered it.

I am coming up from the Rear with my P2 Accurized backpack too! I bet I finish first!

Thanks, Gene. Looking forward to seeing your rendition, there's some good photos of it in the Reference Section. The "coming up from the rear" part is a bit troubling, though

Ha I aint no butt pirate! Seriously tho the sculpt is spot on. You do meticulous work!

You are the Yoda of Quality Control.
