Accurized P1 Backpack Mold Finished Pg 16

Yes, gentlemen I am still here, thanks for the ........ encouragement. Lurking more than posting these days. There's just not enough hours in the day, I tell ya. Yes, I am feelin' the love guys. I will be feeling a whole lot better on finishing the backpack. I've got Scott Andrews coming over this weekend to give the sculpt the once over to make sure I'm on the right track. After the molding, I've got to finish the roto caster I have in mind for this thing---slush casting ain't gonna work here.

Liking the new avatar, Andy. Also like the work I'm seeing lately in this place.

Can't wait to have one of those puppies for my suit Carl.make sure you have Scott give it the once over before knocking a few cold ones

Yes yes by the time he finishes it were all gonna be so old. That our plasma cannons and peckers are all gonna be firing dust. :)

Sadly Carl has been deported back to his homeworld and taken his clan with him.

Scott was also back on his home planet recently. Here's a photo of the souvenir he brought back with him:

I have done some more work on the sculpt, but nothing worth taking a photo for. Straightening and smoothing some of the features. I've also been banging out some stuff I owe people. Major changes coming next week on the sculpt, stay tuned.

Carl, one question, do you heat up the clay before use so it's surface becomes much more pliable/softer or do you prefer it harder?

I better answer your clay question before it becomes a weapon by a certain someone :)
Yes, I do heat up the Chavant medium. I use a Crock Pot - they work great because they have variable heat settings. I apply the clay when soft, and then sculpt it as it hardens.

Hi Carl,

any news when you are ready for casting your backpack?
can you also send me what price these packs would cost.

thanks!

jeroen.
