I noticed that also, but it's in the new issue of Previews. Strange.

It shouldn't say "KHAAAAAN!" That's the wrong communicator for saying "KHAAAAAN!" :lol

It is however the right communicator for saying "If we go 'by the book' like Lt Saavik, hours would seem like days," "If you don't hear from us in two hours there won't BE anybody left behind" and possibly "I don't like to lose." :sleep

It shouldn't say "KHAAAAAN!" That's the wrong communicator for saying "KHAAAAAN!" :lol

Not to mention that none of Khan's lines would be with this communicator either- the ad mentions phrases from Kirk, Spock, Uhura and Khan.


I too thought this was cancelled. Guess it was put on the back-burner?

Not my favourite communicator design (in fact it looks a little retro compared to even the series communicator)...

But I'll grab one. I likes me some WOK. :love

I contacted DST and they stated it definitely is a go. It is to be released this year although I am not sure on the July date. Would be cool though. They make some impressive toys and with a few tweaks you have a good quality prop.

I like. But also, it makes me nervous on some level.

Given that AA/DST has put their action figure line on hold due to sales, I really don't want any such shyness creeping into the prop line. This seems like quite a niche item, to put it kindly (especially if that SRP of $45 is actual).

Basically what I'm trying to say is that I really, really want my Star Trek III phaser. I won't have it derailed by this clunker. :unsure
